It's been said that the absolute best way to learn something is to try to teach it. Teaching others helps us to pinpoint our knowledge and the way we express it.

​As you help others succeed, even in very small ways, it helps you redefine and reflect on your own goals, assumptions, and ways of doing things.

There are probably many people in your life you are in a position to help. Perhaps you're an expert or very experienced in your field. You can find someone who would really appreciate your help.

People often forget that kindness is free. Helping the weak will make you strong.

In fact the Bible says in Proverbs 11:24-25, "One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."

​Be a blessing! Never be afraid to help others in their time of need. You never know when you may need that shoulder to lean on. Help people even when you know they can't help you back.

The best feeling of happiness is when you're happy because you've made somebody else happy.

The more you help other people succeed in life, the more they will want to help you succeed. You might wonder why all the people who teach success strategies are so successful. It's because they have helped so many people get what they want. People naturally support those who have supported them. The same will be true for you.

One of my mentors once taught me to be a student to those above me, a teacher to those below me, and a fellow traveler and helpmate to those on the same level.
