Gentleman, plan today for a better tomorrow. Preparation is the key to success. The Bible says about man's mission: Leader, Provider, and Protector.

The role of the husband in the Bible starts with leadership. Scripture makes it very clear that a husband must be a leader of his home and have healthy control of his life.

3 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. 5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

1 Timothy 3:1-7

Anyone who does not provide for their relatives,
and especially for their own household,
has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life,

Here are some financial/practical tips for a single or in a relationship gentleman.

To model Christ as a husband,
he must model Christ as a man.

Establish your work first in the Garden (Garden is your workplace where God manifested). God knows all your needs. Do the hustle!
Improve your cash flow. Create more income streams.
Create an emergency fund.
Get life insurance. Protect yourself and your future family.
Learn to save and invest.
If you believe and have faith that God will send you a partner/helper (woman) in His perfect time or if you think she's the right one, then start planning and building your future wedding fund, baby fund, and educational fund. Think ahead!
To the single gentleman, wait for God to send you the right woman (your Proverbs 31 woman). For now, while waiting, keep improving yourself.
Make God the center of your life.
