What is a Mutual Fund?
It is a pooled fund with affordable investments, invested in a basket of securities, professionally managed by a fund manager, and instant-diversified. What are the types of Mutual Funds? Equity Funds Invested in individual stocks listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Equity Index Funds Invested in stocks that are components of the PSEi (30 blue chip companies).
Bond Funds Invested in bonds issued by corporations (commercial papers issued by reputable companies in the Philippines) and such as treasury notes issued by the Philippine government.
Balanced Funds Invested in a combination of both individual stocks and bonds.
Money Market Funds Invested in short-term time deposits, corporate bonds, and government securities.
