How To Create A PSE EASy Account?

I received a good news email from COL Financial. The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) has launched PSE EASy - an online Initial Public Offering (IPO) subscription platform that allows you to order IPOs through the Local Small Investor (LSI) program in a more convenient way.

With just a one-time setup, you can participate online every time there’s an IPO, and order up to PHP 100,000 worth of IPO shares. You also have a better chance of getting IPO shares this way, since 10% of each IPO is allotted to the LSI program.

Here’s a quick guide on how to create a PSE EASy account:

Step #1 Register: Go to the PSE EASy website (https://easy.pse.com.ph). Click the register button, and fill up the required fields.

Step #2 Validate: Verify your PSE EASy account by clicking on the link emailed to you by the PSE. After 1-2 business days, your designated trading participant (your online stock broker) should email you your PSE EASy reference number, which you'll have to enter in your account (in my case, it is COL account).

Log-in to your COL Account (up to you which COL account to use if you have several COL accounts), go to Change Profile and enter the reference number. As per COL Financial, you must do this within two (2) weeks, otherwise you will not be validated.

Additional Important Reminder: Only one (1) PSE EASy account per person is allowed, even if you have multiple COL accounts. Please refrain from applying for several PSE EASy accounts.

After 1 to 2 business days, you will receive an email from PSE that COL has validated your account. Then, it will reflect in your COL account as "Validated."

After these steps, you can already subscribe online to all IPOs through the LSI program.
