What are the secrets to real and lasting happiness? Where can you find happiness? It doesn't matter how much money you have in the bank. Happiness is not about material things. True happiness comes from within. Learn to love yourself Loving yourself means accepting the fact that you are not perfect. What's important is you have the courage to do whatever it takes to recover from your mistakes. Be content with what you have You will find happiness if you see the best in your loved ones, your friends, your home, and your job. Be thankful for what you have and keep pursuing your dreams and goals in life. Balancing Your Life The key to a happy life is the ability to balance it. Have some time for yourself Take some time off your busy schedule to relax. You will feel refreshed even in little ways such as reading a chapter of your favorite books, talking to your pet cat, or sitting outside in your sunny garden. Take good care of yourself Give your body what it needs to be healthy—eight hours of sleep every night, a diet of mostly fruits and vegetables, and 30 minutes of exercise every day. Be positive Always look at the bright side of things. Activities That Relieve Stress
There are many activities you can do to lessen stress. Do something you enjoy It can be anything--baking, painting your living room, or planting a tree--for as long as you love doing it. Take time out of your busy schedule and spend some time having fun. Imagine yourself in your favorite place Lie down on your sofa and close your eyes, Imagine yourself in your favorite spot--a sunny beach, for example. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face, smell the salt air, and listen to the gentle waves breaking on the shore. Take deep breaths If you find yourself in a stressful situation, take five deep breaths from the bottom of your stomach. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Visit a local gym or practice yoga Go to your local gym and enroll in a yoga class. Have a healthy diet Keep away from foods with too much fat, salt, and sugar. Drink more water and eat more fruits and vegetables. Get eight hours of sleep a day
