What types of accounts are available in DragonFi? DragonFi accepts Individual and Joint OR cash accounts. If the account will be owned by you alone, choose Individual. If it will be jointly owned with another individual, choose the Joint OR account. For Corporate and margin accounts, it will be coming soon. How do I open an account? How long does it take to open an investment account and start investing? Visit https://www.dragonfi.ph/register, fill out the details, submit 1 government ID, and undergo an automated ID and identity verification system. DragonFi's registration process is fully online for your convenience. Note: Filipino citizens (individual accounts) who successfully pass the automated ID and identity verification, you can open an account in as little as 30 minutes.  How long does it take to open an investment account and start investing? For Filipino citizens, completing the registration should only take an average of 15-20 minutes if all necessary information and documents are provided. You are required to submit 1 government ID and a video selfie. Once you pass our automated ID and identity verification, the account will be approved in minutes. Can I open a joint account? Yes, you can open a Joint OR account. A Joint OR account is a brokerage account shared between two individuals. Joint OR accounts allow anyone named on the account to access and invest on behalf of his/her co-account holder. Please note that there will only be one login credential provided per account. Can a foreigner can open an account? Yes, a foreigner can also open an account with DragonFi. Just make sure you have a Philippine Tax Identification Number (TIN) and bank account for withdrawal purposes. Note that foreigners will have to undergo additional KYC (Know Your Customer) checks by DragonFi's compliance team; therefore, you can expect your account to be approved in 2-3 business days if the compliance team does not require additional documents from you. How do I deposit funds to my account and when will my account be credited? Funding the account can be done in real-time using Instapay or next business day using PESONet or through bills payment. You may deposit funds to your account by visiting Dashboard > My Money > Deposits on your account. You may fund your account through the following channels: For real-time funding: Instapay Inbound fee is free until September 2023, though the originating bank may still charge you a fee. Unionbank Online Banking Inbound fee is free but this option is limited to UB account holders only. Credited within one business day: Pesonet Inbound fee is free until September 2023, though the originating bank may still charge you a fee. Bills Payment with BDO, Metrobank, and Unionbank Available through Over-the-Counter and Mobile/Online Banking. Inbound fee for BDO and Metrobank is P25 per transaction while for Uniobank, inbound fee is free until September 2023. What are the different fees that can be charged to my account? Commissions & Other Trade-related Fees DragonFi guarantees the lowest possible fees. Buy Orders Commission - 0.25% of the gross trade amount VAT - 12% of the commission PSE - 0.005% of the gross trade amount SCCP Fee - 0.01% of the gross trade amount Sell Orders All of the above plus, Sales Tax - 0.6% of the gross trade amount Stock Transfer Fees ₱75.00 per security Plan Fees Choose the plan that best suits you.
