CIMB Bank PH: Earn up to 15% Per Annum in Interest on Your Average Daily Balance

As CIMB Bank PH celebrated its five years, it announced on November 1, 2023, that its loyal customers can earn up to 15% p.a. interest on their UpSave or GSave Account—their highest interest rate ever with no cap.

According to CIMB Bank PH, this promo runs from November 1 to December 31, 2023, only.

With this promotion, who can participate?

The customer must have a minimum of one GSave and/or UpSave account that is open and active. Accounts that are Fast and Fast Plus are not eligible. Other interest rate campaigns are included in all of the additional promo interest rewards.

For Existing Customers

Earn 5% p.a. interest on all your balances this month – NO CAP!

Open to all new and existing deposit customers of GSave and/or UpSave accounts.
Earn 5% p.a. on the Total ADB of your GSave and/or UpSave accounts this month – no cap!
5% p.a. is inclusive of regular base rate of 2.5% p.a. for UpSave and 2.6% p.a. for GSave account and other promo/s interest rate.
For customers who have multiple UpSave and Gsave accounts with CIMB Bank PH, the special interest reward will be computed based on the qualifying month’s Total ADB with the Bank (for UpSave and GSave only).

Earn +1% p.a. interest by growing your Total ADB by at least Php 5,000

Only applicable to existing deposit customers:

a. For the month of November 2023: exclusive to existing customers with open GSave and/or UpSave account as of September 30, 2023.
b. For the month of December 2023: exclusive to existing customers with open GSave and/or UpSave account as of October 31, 2023.

Customer must grow his/her total Average Daily Balance (ADB) by at least Php 5,000 compared to the previous month’s total ADB.
The additional +1% p.a. interest rate is applicable to the Total ADB of GSave and/or UpSave accounts. No cap.
For customers who have multiple UpSave and GSave accounts with CIMB bank PH, the special interest reward will be computed based on the qualifying month’s Total ADB growth of customer’s UpSave and/or GSave account in a month.
ADB growth in a qualifying month must be performed via customer-initiated cash in transaction via InstaPay, PESONet, Dragon Pay, Bayad Center, GCash, 7 Eleven, and Over-the-counter Banks. Transfers within account of customer or within CIMB Bank accounts are not considered. Any delays in cash-in posting of funds in a month is not counted, regardless of the cause of the delay.

Earn +2% p.a. interest by using your Virtual Debit Card

Open to all new and existing deposit customers of GSave and/or UpSave accounts .
Customer must spend a cumulative amount of at least PHP 5,000 using his/her CIMB Virtual Debit Card for the qualifying month.
The additional +2% p.a. interest will apply to your Total ADB of GSave and/or UpSave accounts. No cap.
Valid transaction must be performed within the campaign period. Only successful, completed, and posted transaction reflected in CIMB Bank’s system will be considered. Any delay in posting, failed transaction, cancelled, and reversal within the campaign period will not be counted regardless of any cause of the delay or failure.
All Virtual Debit Card Transactions linked to any Savings Account (GSave, UpSave, and/or Fast Plus) will be considered.
Only CIMB Virtual Debit Card transactions are considered valid transactions for this campaign.

Earn +3% p.a. interest by transacting using Virtual Debit Card, Pay Bills or Buy Load

Open to all new and existing deposit customers of GSave and/or UpSave accounts.
Customer must spend a cumulative amount of at least PHP 50,000 using his/her CIMB Virtual Debit Card, Pay Bills or Buy Load for the qualifying month.
The additional +3% p.a. interest will apply to your Total ADB of GSave and/or UpSave accounts. No cap.
Valid transaction must be performed within the campaign period. Only successful, completed, and posted transaction reflected in CIMB Bank’s system will be considered. Any delay in posting, failed transaction, cancelled, and reversal within the campaign period will not be counted regardless of any cause of the delay or failure.

Applicable only to existing deposit customers:

Customer must grow his/her total ADB by at least PHP 50,000 compared to the previous month’s total ADB.
The additional +4% p.a. interest rate is applicable to your Total Average Daily Balance of GSave and/or UpSave Accounts. No cap.
For customers who have multiple UpSave and GSave accounts with CIMB bank PH, the special interest reward will be computed based on the qualifying month’s Total ADB growth of customer’s UpSave and/or GSave account in a month.
