Personal Development, Business, Finance, and Investing for Everyone
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
People have a tendency to make things more complicated than they need to be.
Jesus Lived Simply
Sometimes it is hard to imagine the Lord bringing any good out of the dark, disastrous, and deep situations you are going through but Jesus hears you and will help you as you come to Him.
I'd like to share some learnings from our church pastor, Ptr. Joseph Neil Bercero of Word of Hope (A Christian Family Church) on how to simplify your life. Make Wise Purchases Ask yourself with these questions: Is it useful or just for status? Is it something will last? Is it worth the investment? Better what the eye sees Then he said to them, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Don't Let Things Of This Earth Controls You Don't let yourself be controlled by people, money, past experiences, food and technology (FB likes, comments, etc.). Make God the center of your life. I am not saying this because I am in need, I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. Whoever loves money never has enough; Get Rid Of Clutter Let go of the past, those bad things. Forgive and learn to move on. How to declutter? Give things that you don't need regularly or sell it. This will help you to decide what are the important things in your life. Learn To Enjoy Things Without Owning Them You can enjoy things without owning them. Don't Hold On To Sin Let go of grudges, bitterness, etc. Confess it to God. Let go of sin. Enjoy God's Creation You could go on picnics or hiking. Unload to nature. It makes sense the greatness of God. Enjoy the natural resources. The heavens declare the glory of God; Get Out Of Debt Did you that financial problem is the number one killer of marriage. Discipline is the key. Let no debt remain outstanding, Talk Simply Be honest. Don't try to say anything just to impress others. Make sure you can deliver what you say. Let your yes be yes. Let your be no be no. Talk gently. Sin is not ended by multiplying words, The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, The words of the reckless pierce like swords, Create Community Help those who are in need. Live life together with people. Talk to people hopeful. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. Have A Simple Faith God called us to do greater works. God has a purpose in our lives. Trust Him. Don't let anyone distract you. Jesus replied: This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. Maybe you need to lighten your burdens. For the wages of sin is death,
