When It Looks Like I Have Failed

Your mistakes do not define you. Do not embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.

Failures are part of life. If you don't failed, you don't learn. If you don't learn you'll never change. Look up from your failure, and you'll find God standing ready to receive you.​

Lord, are you trying to tell me something?
For--
Failure doesn't mean I'm a failure.
It does mean I haven't yet succeeded.

Failure doesn't mean I have accomplished nothing.
It does mean I have learned something.
Failure doesn't mean I have been a fool.
It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.

Failure doesn't mean I've been disgraced.
It does mean I dared to try.
Failure doesn't mean I don't have it.
It does mean I have to do something in a different way.

Lord, you are my refuge, my hope, and my stronghold
in this very difficult time of my life.
I lean on and confidently put my trust in You.
For I know that you will not forsake me.

I pray that you will let time heal this wound
and I will become a better person
​because of your work in me in this crisis.
