What are Bonds?
Bonds are a debt investment in which an investor loans money to an entity (corporate or governmental) that borrows the funds for a defined period at a fixed interest rate.
How to buy or invest in Bonds?
There are two ways how you can invest in bonds.
First option, you may purchase bonds through any of the Government Securities Eligible Dealers. Visit Bureau of the Treasury's Website for the complete list of partner banks.

What is Bonds.PH?
Bonds.PH is a mobile app by UnionBank of the Philippines in partnership with PDAX. Bonds.PH empowers every Filipino to invest in risk-free treasury bonds conveniently, no matter where you are in the world.

Completely digital, open 24/7. Cash in or out through any bank, various e-wallers or other payment channels.
Hassle-free, no need to go to a bank or open a bank account. Sell your investment anytime. Do everything from your mobile phone.
Safer than a savings account. Invest with as low as Php 5,000 (this varies, depending on the minimum amount offered), backed by the Republic of the Philippines.
Higher Interest Rates
Pays interest every quarter. Earn more than your average time deposit.
How to register an account?
1. Download the Bonds.PH app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google PlayStore (for Android devices).
2. Once you have clicked the Sign Up button, set a 6-digit PIN.
3. Check your inbox and click the verification link that we’ve sent to your email address to complete your registration.
4. Open the Bonds.PH app and sign up by providing your complete name, email address, and mobile number.
To verify your account:
After you’ve signed up, verified your email address, and completed your registration, you will need to undergo customer identification and verification to access the range of services.
What are the requirements to verify your account?
The Bonds.PH app will prompt you to input personal information, and to verify your identity, you will be asked to upload a photo of your ID, and a selfie.
Note: You just need one (1) valid primary ID.
How to buy bonds? How to start investing?
Once your registered Account Verification is complete, you will be able to cash in to the app. Using the cash you have on the app, you can go to "Bonds Available" and place your order. The minimum order amount varies.
How do you cash in?
You can select from the menu of cash in channels, subject to fees.
How do you cash out?
To withdraw your cash balance from the app, you can select from the menu of cash in channels like InstaPay, PesoNet, and through electronic money wallets.
You'd better visit the Bureau of the Treasury's website frequently for any news about bonds. So that you are updated if our government has an offering. You can also check using the Bonds.PH Mobile App if there is the latest update regarding the offered bonds.
