Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus Hits P1 Billion Milestone in Member Discounts

The Pag-IBIG Fund has reached a historic milestone as its Loyalty Card Plus program officially surpassed P1 billion in total discounts granted to its members. This achievement comes as the agency successfully expanded its network to 507 partner establishments nationwide, providing Filipino workers with tangible relief against the rising costs of living.

A Decade of Member Savings

Originally launched in 2014, the Loyalty Card program was designed to offer more than just a membership ID. In 2019, it evolved into the Loyalty Card Plus, integrating cash card features through partner banks like Asia United Bank (AUB) and UnionBank of the Philippines. This upgrade allowed members to receive loan proceeds and access basic banking services directly through their card.

As of March 2026, the program has recorded:

• Total Discounts: P1,005,583,149.75
• Discounted Transactions: Over 30.66 million
• Total Cards Issued: 15.17 million

“The Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus is a prime example of how public-private partnerships can work to provide practical and relevant daily benefits to Filipino workers,” said Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, Chairperson of the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

Where Can Members Save?

The program’s growth to 507 partners ensures that members can find savings in almost every sector of daily life. The discounts are spread across various categories and regions to ensure accessibility for all 15 million cardholders.

Looking ahead, Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta announced that the program is entering its next phase: the rollout of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus Digital within the year.

This digital version aims to:

• Enhance Security: Provide a safer way to manage transactions and banking features.
• Drive Financial Inclusion: Bring government services closer to Filipinos who may not have easy access to physical branches.

2. Pay the P125 card fee.
3. Complete the data capture (photo and fingerprints).
