 Selected government securities, such as Treasury bills (T-bills), are now available on GBonds, a new investment platform made possible through the partnership of the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr), GCash, the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), Inc., and Bonds.PH Inc. This initiative supports the BTr’s commitment to financial inclusion by allowing Filipinos to conveniently invest in government securities through their mobile devices, even without a bank account. Retail Treasury Bonds (RTBs) will also be offered on the platform soon, in time for the next RTB issuance.

 The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) warns the public against phishing scams through phone calls, texts, emails, or messaging apps by individuals or groups claiming to be from the agency.
 SEC warns the public that scammers have been utilizing deep fake technology to create manipulated videos and audio recordings that falsely depict Mr. Lance Gokongwei, Head of the Gokongwei Group and President and Chief Executive Officer of JG Summit Holding, Inc. and other known personalities endorsing investment schemes involving cryptocurrency, forex , other digital assets. These deceptive materials have been circulating in social media platforms, aiming to mislead individuals into investing in non-existent or illicit ventures.
 The Financial Sector Forum, composed of the BSP, SEC, IC, and PDIC, relaunches the Protect Your Money Campaign on June 17 at the BSP Head Office in Manila. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ramped up its investor protection efforts, as it joined the Financial Sector Forum (FSF) in an intensified online campaign to empower Filipinos and protect them against financial fraud.
