Personal Development, Finance and Investing For Filipinos
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. Financial Education is your best investment.
It's time to unfold new pages and start a new chapter in your life because it's a New Year.
This New Year should not just be any other year. It should be a year full of new discoveries and learning--a time to get a fresh perspective about your chosen craft of work, get unstuck in your career, and take a momentous leap.
Actually, you don't need to wait for a new year to change. Each new day is a new opportunity to improve yourself. Take it. And make the most of it.
Our hope is not in the new year but in the One who makes all things new. People need to put God first before anything in their lives.
I would like to share some spiritual learnings from our church pastor, Ptr. Jhun Cunanan of Word of Hope (A Christian Family Church). According to him, there are 3 simple guidelines we can do to improve our lives and our relationship to the Lord.
Enjoy and be blessed by the article that you are about to read below.
I. Wake Up!
And do this, understanding the present time:
One of the reasons why we are in spiritual slumber and so hooked with our wrongdoings and sinful habits is because we have NEVER BEEN VIGILANT and DISCIPLINED in our daily walk as Christians.
II. Shape Up!
12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Put aside the deeds of darkness and behave decently.
When it comes to our spiritual life, we really need is more study, more Bible study, more prayer, more Christian service, more of God in our life.
The more I focus on the Lord and people,
II. Dress Up!
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ,
While dressing nice is nice,
Niceness must come from a heart that is truly nice.
It comes from Christ who went about doing good while He was on Earth.
We need to put on Christ!
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
