Comment on popular blogs and websites related to your niche A great way for your website or blog to become popular is to comment on other blogs that are related or complimentary to your own. For this strategy to work, you have to leave insightful and substantial comments using your blog/website. Utilize message boards We all know that message boards are a bit too conventional and boring but the thing is, they’ve been around for years and people are familiar with them—meaning it is an effective way to reach your market. This is especially true if your target audience is on the older side and not the millennials. There are millions, maybe even billions of message boards online for almost every niche. Optimize your blog/website for search engines Google is the most popular website on the internet. No internet user has never heard of this before and so using it to make your blog/site popular is a no-brainer. Through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you can rank higher in Google so you can get more traffic on your site. Add a location to your blog posts
If you are paying close attention, you’ll notice that search results are becoming more and more personalized. The results are becoming closer and closer to your location. So it’s great to claim locations that are closer to where your target market is for them to see your blog posts and updates stat. Answer questions Based on forums and answer question sites like Yahoo Answers or Quora, it is obvious that people need help. If you can answer questions that are related to products or services that your business provides, you can get new customers. You can find these customers on forums and question sites. Use social networking sites Everything from Facebook to Twitter, to Google Plus, are popular and effective social networking sites that you can use to make your business more popular. Create profiles for each of those sites, and other popular social media sites, because they are a good way of stimulating traffic on your blog and website. This is also a good way for you to find more customers. There you go! Now that you know that you don’t have to break the bank to take your business online, there’s no excuse for you to not try online marketing.
