Personal Development, Finance and Investing For Filipinos
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. Financial Education is your best investment.
You only get one chance to live your life fully. Be grateful, enjoy the little things.
Why Am I Missing Out On In Life?
You know why you miss out? Because there's too much going on! Make space.
For many of us, there's so much clutter in our life that there isn't any space for magic to happen.
We fill-up our time with mindless scrolling on social media. We're bombarded by SMS/email/notifications/calls. We fill-up our time with TV/Radio/Netflix. We are distracted by so much marketing, jostling for our attention.
Sometimes we miss out on what's important.
I'd like to share some learnings from Coach Edwin Soriano (Life Coach, Trainer and an author of "You Can Be Happy Again" book) on how to experience life more fully.
It is when we make space that we allow magic to happen in our lives.
Make Space For God Time
Allot your first waking hour reading the Bible. Walk out of your home and get some time under the morning sun, read the bible while it's still quiet. Know more about God and talk to Him.
Make Space For Your Loved Ones
Yes, maybe you see your family everyday. But do you really have meaningful conversations? Have a weekly date with you mom/dad or child. Spend more time with your parents.
Make Space By Turning Off The Phone
One way to create space is by turning off your phone. Stop constantly checking your phone.
Make Space By Turning Off Notifications/Subscriptions
Do you really need to be notified every time you receive an email, Viber message, FB PM, instagram message etc.? Try turning off the notifications--you'll discover how refreshing it is to NOT be notified, and instead be surprised! Those newsletters that you don't read anyway--click Unsubscribe!
Make Space By Decluttering Stuff
That thing you haven't used for a year. Let it go! Someone else has better use for it, make it a gift to someone, and make it space for you to have more joy. Spark joy!
Make Space For Meaningful Conversations
The best way to know someone is to have a conversation with them. Nothing compares to a beautiful conversation with a beautiful mind.
Make space. How do YOU make space in your life?
